Together for Short Lives is the charity formed in 2011 as a
result of the merger between Children's Hospices UK and ACT.
Working nationally, Together for Short Lives provides a single
voice for children's palliative care and is working to represent
and support all children with life-limiting and life-threatening
conditions, their families and the professionals and organisations
who support them.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead Together for Short
Lives, working closely with the Board, staff and a wide range of
stakeholders to form a vision and implement this across the
charity. We are ambitious, and will be looking for our Chief
Executive to increase Together for Short Lives' visibility and
impact. You will also ensure strong organisational structures are
in place to underpin our excellent work for clients and
stakeholders, taking responsibility for managing staff and
resources effectively.
You are a highly experienced and confident person with a
successful track record of leading organisations going through
considerable change. Already well networked, you must have
outstanding communication skills and the ability to connect
effectively with individuals at all levels and from a range of
backgrounds. You also have excellent people and financial
management abilities, as well as experience of working with engaged
boards.
