Candis Club

Children’s Hospices UK has been selected as one of Candis magazine’s charity partners for another 12 months from October 2009.

Candis, the seventh biggest women’s monthly magazine, is subscription only and donates ten per cent of its income to health charities and community projects every month. To date, Candis has donated £52 million to these causes. Children’s Hospices UK will be joining Marie Curie Cancer Care as Candis’ chosen supported charities.

The support of Candis and its members will enable children’s hospice services, which depend almost entirely on donations, to continue to help children who are not expected to reach adulthood and their families deal with the emotional and physical challenges they face and to make the most of life. Together Candis and Children’s Hospices UK aim to ensure that all life-limited children and their families have the care and support they need for every step of the journey.

Every issue of Candis magazine will contain heart-felt, moving and inspirational stories about children’s hospices and the children and families they support.
