Children’s Hospices UK is delighted to be partnered with leading games retailer, GAME Group, owners of GAME and Gamestation. All of the GAME and Gamestation stores will be fundraising over the next two years for the UK’s network of 41 children’s hospice services. The staff in each store will be supporting their local children’s hospice which provides care and support to children and young people who are not expected to reach adulthood and their families. The money raised will help fund support life-limited teenagers and young people through specialist activities like "teenage weekends".

“The support of Candis and its members will enable children’s hospice services, which depend almost entirely on donations, to continue to help children who are not expected to reach adulthood and their families deal with the emotional and physical challenges they face and to make the most of life. Together Candis and Children’s Hospices UK aim to ensure that all life-limited children and their families have the care and support they need for every step of the journey.”

Dignity 180px

“I am delighted that so many employees have taken part in the decision making process and that they have chosen Children’s Hospices UK as our new corporate charity. This is a great opportunity for Dignity funeral homes and crematoria to help raise funds for a national charity that makes a real difference at a local level.” Mike McCollum, Dignity Chief Executive

Intrinsic 180px

"The Intrinsic Financial Services Group is delighted to be supporting Children's Hospices UK. When looking for a charity partner, Intrinsic wanted an organisation that was large enough to help us with our fundraising efforts, but also had a regional element that would allow our financial advisers across the UK to support a charity in their local community. Children's Hospices UK fit the bill perfectly, and working in partnership with them we are proud to have raised over £70,000 in our first year. We look forward to growing that figure in the years ahead to support Children's Hospices UK in the fantastic work they do for life-limited children and their families." Wallace Dobbin, MD Corporate, Intrinsic Financial Services

"We are delighted to be supporting Children's Hospices UK and Breast Cancer Campaign. These two fantastic charities were chosen as much for the difference they make locally and regionally as for their causes, so I am confident they will be well supported by employees across our branch network and that we will raise a considerable amount of money for them. We look forward to working closely with both organisations over the next two years to support them and to put even more 'fun' into our fundraising." Ian Church, Managing Director of Travis Perkins (Midlands) and Chairman of the Travis Perkins Charity Committee
